Can you explain this ? Tinkering with LEDs and coin cell

Hi all

Here is an interesting observation!

  • When all the LEDs are connected - only the green one gets lit
  • And the moment you disconnect the green one, you can see the remaining white LEDs come to life!

Why the system is behaving this way?

It might be worth checking if the particular green led is not working as per function. Its resistance may be quite high. Why not do a simple IV charateristic of theed and check how it differs from the rest.

Its highly improbable it has anything to do with the green colour.
