Hyabusa 2 touchdown

Hyabusa 2 is a spacecraft that will land on Asteroid Ryugu and return samples from asteroid. The samples are from below the crust. The parent spacecraft deployed a projectile that blasted a crater on the asteroid. It followed by deploying a lander and some small rovers to explore the terrain. Touchdown was successful. The lander sent stunning pictures of the surface.

The video presentation is in a language that I cannot understand. But the audio is in English and detailed.

Can we do something similar to collect soil and water samples to study biodiversity on earth? Such a robot is useful for us too! Let us challenge our engineers to make one to collect water samples from underground drains.
