Seed germination study in cardamine using clarithromycin:
As per my first Setup ,I felt that 90% of clarithromycin treated cardamine seeds were most effected (decrease in seed germination rate and root-to-shoot ratio based on observations over 10 days )
Made a second Setup:
Objective: To check the effect of clarithromycin in cardamine seed germination.
Hypothesis:90% clarithromycin treated cardamine seedlings will shows yellow coloration in leaves, decreased seeds germination rate & a low root : shoot ratio.
Setups:
Two controls: Each with 20 Cardamine seeds. Watering twice a day.
Tests: Seeds are treated with 90% clarithromycin (stock solution prepared on 28/02/2024). Treatment :twice a day.
Test 1 and a replicate of Test 1, each with 20 Cardamine seeds.
Seeds collected around October 2023 (5 months old).
